Priceless Natural Treasures
Natural and Cultural Landscape of the Uckermark
Three National Natural Landscapes ensure that priceless natural treasures are preserved for future generations. For example, the Grumsin, an ancient beech forest with UNESCO World Natural Heritage status in the heart of the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve; the Lower Oder Valley National Park, Germany’s only floodplain national park; or the approximately 800 square kilometer Uckermark Lakes Nature Park. Here, you can embark on a discovery tour through the natural landscapes and explore a sparsely populated piece of nature on foot, by horse or donkey, by bike, or by canoe.

Partner Initiatives
Since 2013, there have been partner initiatives of the natural landscapes in the Uckermark. Since then, tourism providers and other regional stakeholders have had the opportunity to enter into a special cooperation with the natural landscapes: Lower Oder Valley National Park, UNESCO Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, and Uckermark Lakes Nature Park.
